Max and the Magic Marker is essentially a new mobile version game of the PC/Wii game, and now available to iOSMax and the Magic Marker takes the concept that you can create a fun world within a fun world with a magic marker that is very magic. You can draw objects in the world and then interact with them. For example, you can draw a bridge to span a gap, or get more creative with balloons to float you to certain places. Think of it as a variation of the classic children’s book Harold and the Purple Crayon, but the Magic Marker has a limited amount of ink that has to be refilled.
The game feels a little claustrophobic on an iPhone and iPod Touch (note: it's compatible only with the iPhone 4 and third-gen and later Touches), but it's certainly playable. To really enjoy MMM, however, play it on your iPad, where the levels feel spacious and your finger has lots more room to draw.
Max and the Magic Marker is available at the iTunes store for $1.99.
